Prof. S. Anbazhagan of Periyar University, Tamilnadu, has been nominated as the Chairman of the Board of Adjudicators for conducting the open defense.

Five students of the department join as Asst Geologists in Kerala Mining and Geology dept (28 April 2021). Sharath Mohan MA (Directorate, Trivndrum), Sajna S (Dt. Office Kottayam), Anoop KS (Malappuram), Athira KR (Ernakulam), Reethu Mohan (Pathanamthitta). Another four (Varun, Kollam; Dhaneesh, Kannur; Ajana Sathyan, Trivandrum; Thulasi Rajan, Trichur) joined in the latter half of Dec 2022. See attached lists
